Volunteer Check-in & Breakroom Support Role: Help check-in volunteers when they arrive to our Tribute Gala and oversee the breakroom. This volunteer position is for SFAF staff only.

Shift time: 3:30pm - 7:30pm

Impact: This is our biggest fundraiser of the year making the work we do at SFAF possible!

Training: Online training 9/17/2026, 4:00–4:45 PM. Further instruction will be provided at the beginning of your volunteer shift.

Perks: Volunteers will receive a free meal during their designated break time. Outside of these times, note that drinking or eating isn't permitted during your shift.

Greeter Role: Greet guests as they arrive at the Tribute Gala and guide them where to go. 

Please Note: This position involves standing for the duration of your shift.

Shift Time: 4:30pm - 7:30pm

Step & Repeat Photo Support Role: Support the photographer and assist attendees at the Step & Repeat. After Step & Repeat closes, these volunteers will be utilized as floater support.

Golden Ticket Handlers & Live Auction Support Role: Assist Drag Queens in selling Golden Tickets by writing down bid numbers of those who've purchased. Once the Live Auction begins, you'll transition over to support by distributing wine to auction winners.

Please Note: This role requires attention to detail and involves standing through the duration of the shift.

Shift Time: 4:30pm - 7:30pm (note that for this role, you may or may not be released from your shift early depending on the needs).

Welcome and Dinner Reception Usher: This role will help welcome and usher attendees to their respective seats/tables

Shift Time: 5-7PM

Training: Online training 9/17/2026, 4:00–4:45 PM. Further instruction will be provided at the beginning of your volunteer shift.

Post Dinner Reception Usher: This role will help usher attendees from dinner to the after reception.
